SkyWindWorld promotes art kiting by organizing kite exhibits in major public venues and sponsoring kite flying events and kite workshops for hobby kite flyers and community organizations. We also provide “Kites in the Classroom” – educational programs in which students learn basic science, engineering and math principles by being introduced to kite making. In addition, we provide teacher workshops, consulting services and custom-designed art. We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation.
SkyWindWorld founder Terry Zee Lee has transformed kites into public art exhibits and magical learning experiences in classrooms and community workshops for more than a decade. We invite you to browse our site to learn more about how we bring the incredible world of kites to people everywhere. We also showcase exciting photos of unique and meaningful pieces displayed in SkyWindWorld exhibits and available through our custom-designed art work and installations.
